NECO SSCE Results for 2025 Are Out! What You Need to Know
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the 2025 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) internal results. The announcement, made by NECO’s Registrar and Chief Executive Prof. Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi, marks a significant milestone for both students and the education sector in Nigeria.

Here are the major figures from the 2025 SSCE results:

The results were released 54 days after the last written paper was taken.
The exams ran from June 16 to July 25, 2025.
A total of 1,622 candidates with special needs participated—these include candidates with hearing and visual impairments.
On malpractice: 3,878 candidates were implicated in various forms of examination malpractice. This is a 61.58% reduction compared to 2024.
38 schools across 13 states were identified in cases of mass (whole school) cheating. Also, 9 supervisors in different states were flagged for misconduct and may be blacklisted.
Disruption occurred in some areas: in Lamorde Local Government, Adamawa State, eight schools were affected due to communal clashes, impacting 13 subjects and 29 exam papers.

- Go to NECO result checking portal at https://results.neco.gov.ng/
- Pick your exam year. i.e., 2025
- Pick your exam type. i.e., SSCE INTERNAL (JUN/JUL)
- Enter your Token Number and registration number in the appropriate columns.
- Finally, click on the check result button to access your NECO result.
